Qualsafe Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (RQF)(CERAD)
The purpose of the Qualsafe Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (RQF) is to provide Learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to prepare, drive and manoeuvre ambulance vehicles under both routine and emergency response conditions.

Course Duration
Guided Learning (GL) for this qualification: 120 hours
Total Qualification Time (TQT) for this qualification: 165 hours.
Course Duration: 15 Days
Course Cost
Location: York, Leeds, Manchester & Lincon area.
Cost: £2,550 pp + vat.
Other locations across the UK:
Cost: £2,900 pp+ vat.
Minimum of 3 learners per course.
Cost includes:
- Use of ERDT’s Training vehicle with built in classroom
- E-learning pre-course training package
- Study pack, Roadcraft, DTAG, H/Code books.
Course Delivery & Eligibility
ERDT will deliver the course using our purpose-built crew cab Ambulance training vehicle with its built-in classroom.
Course Delivery Options
Mid-week delivery: 2 x Mon-Fri then 1 x Wed Sun.
Weekend delivery: 6 x weekends.
2 weekends 1 off 2 weekends 1 off 2 weekends.
You must have or an offer of a contract of employment or evidence of authorisation from an NHS Ambulance Service Trust or CQC Registered Ambulance Service (Independent or Voluntary Aid Society) or CQC equivalent for devolved nations.
