Extreme Weather Event Response Driving Skills

The Extreme Weather Event Response Driving Skills course is primarily designed for Emergency Services and supporting organisation that are required to respond safely in extreme adverse weather conditions to incidents on or off-road.

Training Overview

This course provides the learner with the opportunity to complete mandatory units:

Unit 1: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of driving in extreme adverse weather conditions, floodwater, high winds & hurricanes.

Unit 2: Demonstrate Off-Road Driving Skills using a 4×4 and or 6×6 vehicle.

Duration: Unit 1 & 2: 2 Days

Optional Units:

Unit 3: Winch operators course for vehicle self-recovery or moving obstacles. 

Duration: 1 Days
