Emergency Response Motorcycle Training

The Emergency Response Driver/Rider International course is designed for British Crown Dependencies, British Overseas Territories, and International Emergency Services. It provides the learner with the skills, knowledge, and understanding required to drive/ride a vehicle/motorcycle under emergency response conditions at high speed.

Training Overview

The training is based on the UK Police System of Motorcycle Control (“Roadcraft”) and relevant road traffic laws, regulations, and national and international guidance regarding emergency response driving.

The course provides the learner with the opportunity to complete ERD units 1 and 2 and a vehicle class pathway unit that best meets the vehicle type to be driven under emergency response conditions.
